Dr. Garritano and Christina at Her Wellness would like to help patients and their families understand all the reproductive health care options available in Connecticut.
With over years experience practicing as a women’s healthcare practitioner, for the past nine years Dr. Kikelomo Otuyelu-Garritano, MD, has served the Fairfield county area providing access to healthcare for women. As the sole obstetrician and gynecologist at HER Wellness Health Center, Dr. Otuyelu-Garritano takes a modern approach to medicine due to her belief in the power of holistic care.
Dr. Otuyelu-Garritano holds a strong educational background in healthcare, which began when she completed her doctorate at Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University in 2003 and earned a community service award. She went on to complete her residency at the Westchester Medical Center University Hospital, where she served as the chief executive resident. While finishing her residency, she presented three abstracts at the Annual Clinical Meeting of ACOG and won the Resident Research Presentation award for New York Medical College in 2007.
After her residency, she decided she wanted to practice as an obstetrician and gynecologist focusing on holistic patient care. Today, she plays a vital role in the health of women of all ages. As a mother, she feels that a strong support system throughout pregnancy is vital, and as a woman, she understands the importance of gynecological care to a woman’s overall health, wellness and sense of self.
